We want Marking Buddy to genuinely earn its place in your week. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record.
Free to start
Every teacher gets a free monthly allowance — enough to mark a full class set — with no card required. You can try the product properly before you ever pay.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel any time from Account → Plan & billing, or via the manage-subscription link in your billing confirmation email. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for — you won't be charged again, and nothing is deleted. There is no lock-in and no cancellation fee.
Refunds
If Marking Buddy isn't right for you, refund requests should be sent to jarednewton07@gmail.com within 14 daysof a charge and we'll arrange a refund of that charge. After 14 days we consider refunds case by case — if something went wrong on our end, we'll always make it right.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here limits your rights under South African consumer law or any other applicable statutory protection. Those rights always apply in addition to this policy.
